Ronnie’s single-night performance in Northwest Arkansas will include a slew of hits spanning his four-decade career as well as selections from his holiday album “Christmas with Ronnie Milsap,” which features traditional holiday songs such as “O Holy Night” and “It’s Christmas.” Noted for being country music’s first successful blind singer, Ronnie Milsap is considered one of the most versatile “crossover” singers to ever hit the charts. Crafting soaring piano ballads such as “It Was Almost Like A Song” and “Smoky Mountain Rain” and infusing them with R&B, pop, and rock-and-roll elements, Ronnie’s music has defied style boundaries, amassing fans from all music markets. After signing to RCA Records in 1973, Ronnie quickly saw success, scoring seven number-one hits by the end of the decade, including Grammy-winning “(I’m a) Stand By My Woman Man”. A background in classical music as well as early exposure to North Carolina mountain music have served as the foundation for his unforgettable collection of songs and performances.
