Guided by sheer musical instinct, a drive for self-improvement and a willingness to experiment, country star Jake Owen burst into the music scene with his first two singles “Yee Haw” and “Startin’ with Me.” Owen has opened for and performed alongside superstars such as Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Sugarland and Keith Urban. The title track to Owen’s third studio album Barefoot Blue Jean Night exploded as one of the biggest hits of his career.

Since his debut, Owen has celebrated the success of four studio albums and top-ten singles including “Don’t Think I Can’t Love You,” “The One that Got Away” “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and “Alone with You.” The Florida native’s skillful songwriting and energetic vocals earned him Grammy® and CMA nominations. Owen was named 2009’s Top New Male Vocalist by the Academy of Country Music. The country star’s 2013 album Days of Gold has already produced the album’s top-twenty hit title track and the follow-up chart climber “Beachin’.”

The Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion – known as the Walmart AMP – is Arkansas’ premier outdoor concert venue. The AMP has presented headlining concerts for the past 10 years, including rock, country and pop. The AMP has been a Walton Arts Center venue since February 2011 and has presented concerts at the Washington County Fairgrounds for the past two years. In its new, permanent home in Pinnacle Hills at 5079 W. Northgate Rd., Rogers, Ark., the Walmart AMP will hold over 7,000 people and have the largest outdoor stage house in Arkansas.
