From children’s trains, Christmas parades and winter gardens of lights, to a night of 1,000 Santas, a snow village and a historic home tour by candlelight, these Northwest Arkansas holiday happenings will have everyone in the spirit!

Light of the Ozarks

Lights of the Ozarks Lighting Night Parade, Fayetteville, Nov. 18 — Flip the switch on nearly a half-million twinkling lights at the Fayetteville Square during the Lights of the Ozarks Lighting Night Parade!

Eureka Springs Snow Village & Train Exhibit, Nov. 25 thru Dec. 24 — The Eureka Springs Snow Village and Train Exhibit tells the story of small-town American from the 1930’s through the 1950’s. This privately owned exhibition features more than 300 buildings, accessory pieces and trees, along with three Lionel 0-scale trains, and a Lionel 0-scale trolley.

Christmas on the Creek: A New Springdale Tradition, Nov. 26 — Springdale begins a new holiday tradition! Christmas on the Creek takes place downtown on the banks of Spring Creek with a Christmas parade, the lighting of the state’s largest live Christmas tree, caroling, and holiday displays in area stores and businesses.

Eureka Springs Christmas Festival, Month of December — Let the magic of Eureka Springs pull you into its enchanted holiday spell! This year’s Christmas Festival features family fun, historic hotel celebrations, Santa strolls and more! Highlights include a Santa Brunch at the 1886 Crescent Hotel on Dec. 4, an illuminated Stroll of the Springs on Dec. 11, and the Night of 1,000 Santas: Let’s See Who’s Naughty or Nice! celebration on Dec. 17.

Rogers Christmas Parade

Rogers Christmas Parade, Dec. 2 — Bundle up and head downtown for the 32nd Annual Rogers Christmas Parade. This year’s theme — A Woodland Christmas — will feature more than 100 floats, marching bands, cars, kids, animals and more.

Siloam Springs Christmas Parade, Dec. 3 — The 36th Annual Siloam Springs Christmas Parade is sure to bring the whole community together for a celebration of fun, family and the holidays. Sponsored by the Heritage League of Siloam Springs, there is also a light breakfast with Santa, plus pictures and crafts.

Candlelight Tour of Homes, Eureka Springs, Dec. 3 — Tour Victorian homes lavishly decorated for the holidays during the Eureka Springs 34th Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes. The self-guided tour of a bygone era also features Victorian-attired docents, Christmas carolers and holiday refreshments.

Children’s Holiday Train Excursions, Springdale, Dec. 3 — All aboard for a day of special holiday fun! The Arkansas and Missouri Railroad caters to kids on Dec. 3 when it hosts the 13th Annual Children’s Christmas Train with rides throughout the day, and the Springdale to Fayetteville Pajama Train, featuring Santa Claus and friends.

Huntsville Christmas Parade, Dec. 3 — Floats with wonderful characters, Christmas music, holiday lights and a snowball drop for the kiddos – what’s not to love about the Huntsville Christmas Parade?

Bentonville Christmas Parade, Dec. 10 — Enter a float or just enjoy the show… Either way, the Bentonville Christmas Parade is a great way to celebrate with family and friends!
