Opera in the Ozarks 2018 Summer Season

June 22 – July 20 | Inspiration Point, Eureka Springs

This nationally acclaimed summer music festival and training program for the nation’s top emerging opera professionals will kick off its 68th season in June. Opera in the Ozarks will perform nearly two-dozen performances of three of the world’s finest operas at its mountainside venue, Inspiration Point, as part of its 2018 Summer Season!

Tickets go on sale in May for performances of Die Fledermaus, Johann Strauss’ ebullient comedy, performed in English; Il Barbiere Di Siviglia, Gioacchino Rossini’s comedic masterpiece, starring Figaro, sung in Italian with English supertitles; and  The Ballad of Baby Doe, the historic tale of silver baron Horace Tabor who gains the love of the beautiful Baby Doe but loses all – except her love.
